Iran Press/Iran news: In a phone call to Pakistan's Army Commander-in-chief Major General Ghamar Bajwa, Iran's Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri stressed that the military approaches adopted by the Indian and Pakistani parties in Kashmir region just add to the complexity of the situation.
"The two sides are expected to avoid making any hasty decision on the destiny of the region, regardless of what people want," General Bagheri said, expressing hope that the real rights of the Muslim people in the region are honored, Iran Press reported.
He referred to Afghanistan as another country in the region, which is suffering from political and security crisis, and asserted that the current situation is the result of the meddling of Western powers in the country.
"The current situation has led to the terrorist groups' much more abuse of the situation in Afghanistan; therefore, the country's neighbors should on their parts and with close ties to Afghanistan's government, contribute to the return of peace and security to the country," the top commander advised.
The Pakistani commander also for his part appreciated the Islamic Republic's concerns about Muslim's situation and vowed to spare no effort in maintaining peace and security in the borders of the two countries. 101/215
