Iran Press/ Iran News: Speaking to the reporters on the sidelines of an exhibition of the capabilities of Academic Center for Education, Culture, and Research (ACECR), and following the signing of several deals between ACECR and subsidiaries of the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum on Monday, Javad Owji said the administration had no plans to increase the price of petrol, adding the record of 705 million cubic meters of gas production from South Pars joint field was set in late December.
He stated that the amount of liquid fuel consumption in power plants in the three months of autumn this year was 26 percent, adding: "This figure is 7 percent less than the same period last year (33 percent), which shows that in the three months of autumn this year, on average 20 million cubic meters more gas was consumed by power plants."
The Minister of Petroleum stated that at the beginning of autumn this year, "we were concerned about gas condensate, and a large volume of this item was floating on the sea, adding: "With a good initiative, the export of gas condensate increased and part of it was used domestically."
MOP has signed six memoranda of understanding and two contracts with the ACECR.
Accordingly, the National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) and the Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) signed deals concerning their operations focused on ACECR.
Meanwhile, Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) signed a 4-year contract for the purchase of crude oil processing services using rapid processing equipment for the construction of a factory by the method of construction, ownership, and operation with a value of about $71 million, and the Construction Support and Goods Procurement Department of the MOP signed another deal worth €5 m for two years.
