Iran Press/ Iran News: Mehdi Mir-Ashrafi, Head of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), announced that the share of definite exports of non-oil goods in the past six months has been more than 13.560 billion dollars.
He specified that gasoline is still at the top of the country's exports during this period and polyethylene, Polyethylene terephthalate (film grade), methanol, and urea were the top 4 items of Iran's exports after gasoline.
Noting that China was Iran's first export destination in the last 6 months with more than $3.709 billion dollars, Mir-Ashrafi added that Iraq, UAE, Afghanistan, and Turkey were the top five Iranian export destinations after China during this period.
The head of IRICA pointed out: "The total exports of the country to these 5 destinations, in terms of weight was more than 72% and also in terms of value was more than 74% of Iran's exports."
Mir-Ashrafi also announced that Iran's imports from foreign countries reached about 16.780 billion dollars in the last 6 months.
He specified that more than 70% of imports are basic commodities and the rest are mainly raw materials, machinery, and parts and components.
