Iran Press/ Iran News: Mehdi Mirasharfi, Director-General of Iran's Customs, added: "During the same period, 79 million and one hundred thousand tons of goods were exchanged between Iran and other countries."
The Director-General of Iran's Customs said 60 million tons of goods worth $ 21 billion and 800 million were exported by Iran, which increased by 30% in weight and 61% in value compared to the same period.
Mirashrafi announced the total transit of goods from Iran in the first half of the year 5 million and 856 thousand tons, which shows an increase of 88% compared to the same period last year.
"China, Iraq, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Afghanistan are the main destinations for Iran's exports," he said.
According to Mirasharfi, Liquefied natural gas (LNG), methanol, polyethylene, semi-finished iron, iron ingots, propane, urea, gasoline, iron rods, and iron rods cathodes have been the most important export items.
Regarding the statistics of imported goods in the first six months of the year, the Director-General of Customs also added: 19 million and one hundred thousand tons of goods worth 23 billion and one hundred million dollars were imported to Iran. Weight increased by 15% and value by 37%.
