(IP)- Iran's ambassador to Lebanon wrote on X that Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs would visit Beirut tomorrow (Wednesday).

Iran PressIran news: Iran and Lebanon have deep historical records and cultural bonds and the officials of the two countries have repeatedly emphasized bolstering ties. 

Mojtaba Amani, Iran's Ambassador to Lebanon added that holding talks on the issues of mutual interest is on the agenda of the Iranian Foreign Minister's visit to Beirut. 

Amani noted that the meeting reflects Iran's policy and its constructive role in supporting Lebanon's stability and prosperity.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs also visited Lebanon earlier this year and sat down with senior officials of the country.

Earlier this year, Amir-Abdollahian, in a joint presser with his Lebanese counterpart Abdullah Bou Habib, said that the Islamic Republic of Iran supports any agreement between all Lebanese fractions and Iran pursues all foreign parties to respect this choice without interfering in Lebanon's affairs.
