Iranian Deputy Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs said that AFC should accept Iran's football teams just play in Saudi Arabia only when its representatives also come to Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking in a press conference, Mehdi Alinejad said that If Iran can not dissuade the Asian Football Confederation from its decision, the AFC should accept that Iran's football teams go to Saudi Arabia if its representatives would also come to Iran, and the previous resolution regarding the absence of Saudi representatives in our country would be annulled.

Earlier, The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Saeed Khatibzadeh criticized AFC for depriving Iran of its rights to host the qualifying games of the 2022 world cup as a politically motivated act.

According to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Bahrain will host the final four matches of the Iranian national football team in the qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
