Jeddah(IP)- Iran's foreign minister, in continuation of his trip to Saudi Arabia, arrived in Jeddah on Friday early morning.

Iran PressMiddle East: After meeting and consulting with his Saudi counterpart and visiting Iran's embassy, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Hossein Amir- Abdollahian, left Riyadh and arrived in Jeddah.

Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs high-ranking official and Iran's consul general.

Meeting with high-ranking officials of Saudi Arabia during his stay in Jeddah is on the agenda of Iran's foreign minister.

Amir- Abdollahian started his two-day trip at noon on Thursday by arriving in the capital of Saudi Arabia.

This is the first official visit of Iran's foreign minister to the country after the resumption of relations between the two sides.
