Iran Press/Iran News: In order to proceed to the next round of the 2019 AFC Champions League, Esteghlal needed to beat Qatar's Al Duhail, but it only managed a 1-1 draw, and sadly was eliminated from the most prestigious Asian club football tournament.
Esteghlal's last match of the tournament to be played next week is just a formality since it has no chance of proceeding to the next round.
Iran's other great hope in this competition, the Persepolis Football Club, was also eliminated from this tournament.
