East Azarbaijan (IP) - In a meeting with the ambassador of Vietnam to Iran, the Governor of East Azarbaijan Province, northeast of Iran, said that East Azarbaijan capacities can bolster Iran-Vietnam relations.

Iran PressIran news: In a meeting with the ambassador of Vietnam to Iran Luong Quoc Huy on Wednesday, the governor of East Azerbaijan Abedin Khorram Pointed to the industrial, production and, agricultural capacities of the province and said that East Azerbaijan's unique capacities in the field of tourism which expands the relations between Iran and other countries.

In the celebration ceremony held in East Azarbaijan province, Luong Quoc Huy congratulated the registration of Aras Geopark on the list of UNESCO Global Geoparks and said: "Aras Free Zone has a lot of potential for development."

Pointing to the capabilities of the province in the fields of industry, agriculture, and tourism, Quoc Huy called for the strategic location of the province on the Silk Road and North-South Corridor.

The registration ceremony of Aras Geopark was held on Wednesday with the presence of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage's deputy for Cultural Heritage Affairs, Handicrafts and Tourism, the secretary of the Supreme Council of Free Zones of Iran and the ambassadors of 13 countries in Aras Free Zone.
