An Iranian Carpet Exhibition is currently underway in the Omani capital of Muscat with Iran's ambassador and Omani officials in attendance.

Iran PressMiddle East: An Iranian Carpet Exhibition is currently underway in Muscat, Oman, with senior Omani officials and Iran's ambassador to the Arab country, Mohammad Reza Nouri Shahrudi, attending.

According to an Iran Press report, the event showcases dozens of priceless handwoven Iranian carpets in a variety of eye-catching colours and designs for those who are interested in this age-old art and handicraft.

Appreciating the attendance of top-ranking Omani officials and other ambassadors to the exhibition, Nouri Shahrudi said the exquisite handwoven carpets whose delicacy and finesse pleases the eyes, are considered one of Iran's finest exports and are justly famous all over the world.

The 4-day exhibition will last until 9 November.
