Tehran (IP) - At the same time as the month of Muharram arrived, the fabric writing workshop 'Mourning scribblers' was held with the presence of more than 70 calligraphers in the historical building of Tehran Union.

Iran PressIran news: For four days (July 26 to 29, 2022), the fabric writing workshop of 'Mourning Scribblers' hosted 72 calligraphy artists as a symbol of the 72 martyrs of Karbala, and these artists wrote hadiths, poems and themes of Ashura on 30,000 meters of black cloth.

These cloths are sent to mourning processions and mourning centers. With the arrival of the month of Muharram and the days of mourning for Imam Hossein, the lovers of Imam Hussein (AS) in Iran show their love and devotion to the third Imam of the world's Shias in the form of various programs.

Today (Saturday), July 30, 2022, is the first of Muharram 1444 AH.

Imam Hussain (AS), the third Imam of the world's Shias, who was martyred in Karbala on the 10th of Muharram, 61 AH, taught the world the lesson of freedom and honor with his unique sacrifice in Karbala.
