Asia: Brigadier General Ghasem Rezaei is in Baku at the official invitation of Chief of State Border Service of Azerbaijan Republic, Colonel general Elchin Isaoglu Guliyev, to take part in the 11th summit of Iran and Azerbaijan border commanders, according to an Iran Press report.
In their meeting, Iranian and Azerbaijani officials talked about strengthening border relations and promoting common border security between the two countries.
In addition to taking part at the summit and signing a bilateral protocol, Rezaei also held talks with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov.
The Iranian commander also held talks with "Ramil Usubov", Azerbaijan's Minister of Internal Affairs in Baku.
