Iran Press/ Middle East: In an interview with Iraqi news channel of al-Iraqiya, Iran's ambassador to Baghdad Iraj Masjedi said his country supports the government of the Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi, which has been formed based on the will of the Iraq nation.
"We declare that we are ready for all kinds of cooperation and we are confident that the bilateral relations between the two countries will become more expanded and stronger, and will progress appropriately during Al-Kazemi's term as Prime Minister. The common interests of the two countries are important to us," Masjedi added.
He referred to his meetings with the Iraqi Prime Minister and a number of his cabinet ministers and said that bilateral ties and existing documents have been addressed between the two countries.
There are no fundamental differences in relations between the two sides, and that will not happen, he said, adding that the new Iraqi government's approach to Iran is positive, and Iran wants to cooperate with Iraq.
