Iran Press/ Europe: The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week International Forum in Moscow.
The cooperation MoU was signed on Thursday by Mohammad Sadegh Jokar, head of the Iranian institute, and Alexander Stuglev, Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO, according to Iran Press.
The two study and research institutions will examine and announce the proposed plans for cooperation between Iran and Russia in the field of energy in the first step, in terms of implementation and usefulness, added Sadegh Jokar.
Elsewhere he said that international conditions and sanctions have provided a historic opportunity for Iran and Russia to cooperate and use each other's capacities and capabilities with the aim of meeting the needs of the oil and gas industry. 219
