Iran Press/ Iran news: Referring to the action of the French government against the headquarters of the terrorist group and the release of Hamid Nouri, Kazem Gharibabadi, the Deputy Chief for International Affairs of the Iranian Judiciary and Secretary General of Iran's High Council for Human Rights, said: "The release of Mr. Nouri was another defeat for the MKO terrorist outfit and anti-Iranian groups.
Kazem Gharibabadi, in a telephone conversation with IRIB Channel 2 Broadcasting Network regarding the release of Hamid Nouri, said: "Nouri was in prison for almost 5 years in an illegal act."
He noted: "Hamid Nouri was deprived of all the basic rights that a prisoner has; His indictment was not issued for nearly a year and a half because they had no evidence. Gharibababadi further stated that Nouri's family had no contact with him for nearly 2 years adding: "This is the same human rights that the Western countries are talking about."
Gharibabadi continued to emphasize the fundamental policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is to defend the rights of all citizens abroad.
The Vice President of International Affairs of the Judiciary pointed out that regarding the case of Hamid Nouri, several meetings were held jointly with various institutions, including various departments of the Judiciary, the Ministry of Intelligence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Supreme National Security Council so that different capacities could be used to protect Nouri's national rights.
Gharibabadi stated: "The other party was always told that there is no reason to keep Hamid Nouri in prison and the claims and accusations against him were raised by the group of MKO terrorists who shed the blood of more than 17 thousand innocent people.
In this regard, the Secretary of the Human Rights Headquarters stated: "As Nouri's arrest was a political action, logic did not govern it, but finally, after negotiations at various levels, we reached this understanding. In the framework of the exchange, Nouri was returned to his family."
The Vice President of International Affairs of the Judiciary also expressed his satisfaction with the release of Hamid Nouri and said: "Nouri and his family suffered a lot during this time and we will try to free our compatriots who were unjustly arrested in European countries."
Regarding the efforts of Martyred Amir-Abdollahian for the release of Hamid Nouri, Gharib Abadi said: "I was always in close contact with Martyred Amir-Abdollahian and I testify that whenever one of our compatriots was caught and even smaller issues than Mr. Nouri's issue arose, Amir-Abdollhian personally pursued the issue to a favorable result."
In the end, the Vice President of International Affairs of the Judiciary emphasized that in the case of Nouri, it is not only the freedom of a compatriot and its effects are much wider, he said: "Today, our colleagues observed the repercussions of Nouri's release, and these repercussions were very widespread, and we witnessed despair and defeat between anti-Iranian individuals and groups."
