International Book Fair, Printing, and Education Abroad kicked off in Almaty on Wednesday, the capital city of Kazakhstan, with the participation of Iranian publishers among other countries.

Iran PressAsia: Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Republic of Azerbaijan, Germany, and Turkey, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were the other countries participating in the international event which in addition to presenting their publications, introduced the capabilities of their universities to attract foreign students.

From Iran, the Office of Cultural Attache to Kazakhstan, Tehran University, and Iran's University of Medical Science are present in the book fair. 

The Office of Cultural Attache to Kazakhstan has presented 40 titles in its booth to compete with others in such topics as literature, children, history, and Iranology in the international section. 

Still, the Iranian booth introduces study opportunities in Iran provided by the Ministry of Science and the Ministry of Health to those interested in studying in Iran.

Tehran University and Iran's University of Medical Science introduced the fields of study and the history of the foreign students studying at these universities.

The book fair is underway until Friday, November 22.
