Iran Press/ Iran News: In an interview with Iran Press, Shahriar Heydari stated that by the end of the agreement, the operation of the cameras must be stopped, and only safeguard monitoring would remain, within the framework of the Agency's cooperation with countries that are active in nuclear energy.
He noted that European countries and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had asked Iran to extend the three-month agreement for another month, but the Iranian Parliament disagreed and insisted that the "Strategic Action Law to Lift Sanctions" be implemented right away.
"If the Supreme National Security Council decides to extend the three-month agreement between Iran and the IAEA, the Islamic Consultative Assembly will accept it, but the MPs do not consider it advisable to extend time, given the JCPOA experience," he pointed.
Heydari underlined that the MPs insist on strict implementation of the "Strategic Action Law to Lift Sanctions" and believe that cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency in the field of the Additional Protocol must be stopped.
"If the time is likely to be extended, the pro-Iran countries and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) should act immediately, as there will be no renewal after this possible opportunity because the Islamic Consultative Assembly is concerned that the Strategic Action Law to Lift Sanctions will not be implemented," he added.
