Iran Press/ Asia: Hassan Nourian met with Admiral Mohammad Shoaib at the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) headquarters in the port city of Karachi on Friday to discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of sea and security.
The two sides stressed the need to increase maritime security cooperation between Iran and Pakistan.
The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran also raised the issue of increasing bilateral cooperation, including relief and rescue, maritime security, extradition of crews, and detained fishing vessels of the two countries.
The two sides also stressed the need to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency and the Border Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran in order to develop and deepen cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
