Tehran (IP) - The Foreign Ministers of Iran and Netherlands discussed issues of mutual interest including regional and international issues as well as the Vienna talks over the JCPOA.

Iran PressIran news: Netherlands' Foreign Minister Sigrid Kaag, in a phone call on Thursday, congratulated Hossein Amir-Abdollahian over his appointment as Iran's Foreign Minister and invited him to have a visit to Holland. 

Kaag pointed then to the issue of Afghanistan and appreciated the Islamic Republic of Iran for its 4-decade hosting of the Afghan refugees and its humanitarian acts in this regard. 

The two sides also reached an agreement over the consultation of the political deputies of the two foreign ministries as well as the review of bilateral relations. 

Bilateral relations and ways to expand them, issues of Yemen, Afghanistan, and regional developments as well as the Vienna talks on the JCPOA were among the issues discussed by the two sides.

Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian also invited his Dutch counterpart to have a visit to Iran.
