Pezeshkian said before leaving Tehran for New York

President Masoud Pezeshkian left Tehran for New York a while ago concluding his five-day visit to the United Nations during which he will conduct numerous diplomatic meetings with senior world officials.

Iran PressIran news: Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian says Iran is a free country and is even freer than portrayed in enemy media.

Before departing for New York to participate in the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations, Pezeshkian stated, "We can work towards creating peace and security and dispelling the atmosphere of Iran-phobia. Iran is much safer and freer than what our enemies portray in their media. We have our shortcomings, but the Islamic system is founded on the principles of truth and justice."

"Iran is for all Iranians, and we must help build our country to be prosperous, free, and independent," he emphasized once again. He added, "We hope to be able to engage with Iranians and the media to announce our positions and talk about peace, security, the economy, production, investment, and tourism. If we can accomplish our mission, we will achieve something."
