Iran(IP)- The head of the Arbaeen Hosseini central staff, announced the agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iraqi government to establish a joint operational base.

Arbaeen Hossaini procession is a global movement and with the movement, Imam Hussain (AS) and the Karbala uprising are well known.

Majid Mirahmadi, head of Arbaeen Hosseini Central Headquarters, announced the agreement with the Iraqi government to form a joint operational base, the purpose of which is to better coordinate to advance the programs and solve issues and problems related to Hosseini pilgrims during next year's Arbaeen rituals.

The meeting of Arbaeen Hosseini's central headquarters was held at the Ministry of Interior in the presence of the representatives of the relevant institutions under the chairmanship of Majid Mirahmadi, head of the central headquarters.

In the meeting, Mirahmadi emphasized the necessity of the principle of single management in the matter of Arbaeen Hosseini (PBUH) and said: "Arbaeen Hosseini Headquarters is the main authority for policy making in the field of Hosseini Pilgrims management, and it is essential to coordinate the actions of all institutions with the headquarters to provide stronger services to pilgrims."

The head of the central headquarters of Arbaeen Hosseini announced the agreement reached with the Iraqi government to establish a joint Arbaeen operational base and said: "The base is established with the aim of better coordination to advance issues related to Hosseini pilgrims."

The development of border crossings was one of the other issues mentioned by Mirahmadi in the meeting and he said: "It was discussed with the Iraqi side in this connection and it was agreed that the technical capacities for the implementation of this matter will be investigated and implemented."
