Iran Press/ Middle East: The words of the Hezbollah leader came as some rioters have created unrest in Iran and are committing acts of sabotage under the pretext of the death of a girl, Mahsa Amini.
Delivering a speech on the commemoration of the late cleric Sayyed Mohammad Ali al-Amin on Saturday, October 1, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said the blessed Islamic Republic of Iran was more potent and braver than ever and that it could not be defeated while its leader and people were standing firm against the enemies plots.
"The unending incitement against Iran and its people is a Satanic deed to distort the Ummah," Nasrallah pointed out.
He noted that the global media viewed those who took to the streets in recent unrest as the Iranian people, but when millions took to the streets in support of the Islamic Republic, they turned silent.
No link between JCPOA, Lebanon-Israel maritime border deal: Nasrallah
The leader of Hezbollah said: "The successive US administrations have recognized that Iran is strong, dignified, and capable, and that's why it didn't wage a war on Iran but betted on disputes at home."
The aim behind imposing sanctions on Iran is to incite the people against the Islamic regime, as it is in Lebanon to start the people against the Resistance, he recalled.
Sayyed Nasrallah then highlighted the role of Iran in the security of the region and said that the Islamic Republic needed nothing from the regional countries and didn't eye the Iraqi oil.
"How would the Iraqis befriend Saudi Arabia that sent 5000 suicide bombers to their country?," Sayyed Nasrallah asked, "Hadn't been for Iran after the 'Camp David Agreement', where would Palestine and al-Quds have been? And where would have Lebanon and 'Israel' been?"

Lebanon wants president accepted by majority
Sayyed Nasrallah elsewhere referred to the election of President for Lebanon: "Holding the session to vote on electing a President of the Republic was an important issue and the turnout confirms what we have been saying that no political alliance in Lebanon possesses the majority."
Hezbollah's leader asked: "How would a country be run by a president who wants to challenge a major part of the Lebanese people given the deep crisis in the country and the global developments?"
Sayyed Nasrallah called on the political forces to increase their communication in the coming period perhaps a name that was accepted by the absolute majority in the parliament would be reached.
Sayyed Nasrallah stressed: "We are short on time regarding the formation of the Lebanese government."
Daesh, a tool transferred to Afghanistan
Sayyed Nasrallah pointed to the US-backed Deash (ISIS) terrorist group and said the state of 'Daesh' has collapsed, but Daesh is a scheme, organization, and tool.
The extent of the US breach of Daesh is vast, and he noted that a big part of this organization had been transferred to Afghanistan, where we are witnessing what is taking place there.
He reminded the audiences that we made Daesh, and the US intelligence apparatuses are still protecting, facilitating its funding, and transferring more members to it.
