Iran Press/ Asia: Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, currently attending the annual Raisina Dialogue, India’s flagship conference on geopolitics and geo-economics, has had a meeting with his Indian counterpart, Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
The two discussed development of bilateral ties, especially economic and commercial ties between Tehran and New Delhi.
Zarif also met with India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and talked about economic cooperation especially with regards to energy, and discussed development of Chabahar port, in southeast Iran, as well as regional and international issues of interest.
Mohammad Javad Zarif who arrived in India on Tuesday 14 January to attend the annual Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi, also met with India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.

On Wednesday Zarif also met with Afghanistan's National Security Advisor, discussing the regional developments particularly the US assassination of the former top commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, as well as the latest political situation and peace talks in Afghanistan.
The fifth annual meeting of the Raisina Dialogue started in New Delhi on Tuesday and will continue until Thursday, 16 January 2020.
Attending the annual forum are 700 delegates from 103 countries, including political, economic, scientific and cultural figures from around the world.
