Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi

The Iraqi Prime Minister stressed that his country stands firmly against terrorism.

Iran Press/Middle East: "I have felt this strength and determination in our military and security service members. I await a unified, responsible and understanding political stance to complete the Cabinet in order to tackle threats to Iraq so we may all be victorious," Mustafa al-Kazemi said in a tweet on Saturday.

Earlier, al-Kazemi visited the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) in Baghdad on Saturday and wore PMU fighters' uniforms.

Meanwhile, in another development on Sunday, the Iraqi PM met with the head of the al-Nasr coalition Haider al-Abadi, stressing the significance of political stability with the aim of taking measures for the salvation of the country.

They reviewed the latest political, security, economic developments, foreign relations, early election as well as ways to ensure solving the country's challenges including the coronavirus and financial crisis.
