Iran Press/America: In a meeting with Péter Szijjártó in New York, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian mentioned the efforts to develop trade and economic relations as one of the main priorities Tehran-Budapest relations and proposed the establishment of a joint commission and a roadmap as soon as possible.
Noting that more than 4,000 students are studying in Hungary, and there is almost the same number of university graduates from Hungary, the Iranian foreign minister considered it a basis for deepening relations between the two nations.
The Hungarian minister of foreign affairs and trade also announced Budapest's will to expand economic and trade relations with Tehran and said: "US sanctions have created problems, but in the meantime we have been trying to strengthen economic ties."
