Iran Press/ Iran News: Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Iran’s Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Gharaei Ashtiani elaborated on Iran's achievements in the production of air defense systems, saying: "Iran has unique defense systems such as Bavar 373 that many countries aspire to have."
Referring to the defense ties between Iran and Russia, he stated that Iran and Russia enjoy a high level of defense relations. He added that Iran has reached a high level of technology and self-sufficiency in the field of producing defense systems.
Regarding the possibility of buying air defense systems from foreign countries, he added: "Whenever it is necessary to add other defense systems to the existing ones, we will decide then, but there is no need for that right now."

In the field of arming the Iranian armed forces, compared to last year, one and a half times more equipment and services have been provided, which is equal to about 87,000 billion tomans, Ashtiani said.
