Iran Press/ Iran news: Pointing to Iran's policy regarding the longstanding dispute between Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan Nasser Kanaani said that Iran always stressed the preservation of the two country's territorial integrity and the settlement of their dispute under international law.
He made the remarks as the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev got carried away and made rude comments against Iran's holding military exercises.
Kanaani noted that Iran condemned the occupation of Azerbaijani territories and highly supported their liberation.
He said that the Azerbaijani authorities had meetings at different levels with the Armenian officials for two years, but what beat the Islamic Republic of Iran was that why the republic of Azerbaijan was disturbed by the Iranian official's meetings with Armenia.
The Iranian spokesman reiterated that the solution to the Armenia-Azerbaijan dispute passed through the regional countries not the foreign forces and that Iran was ready to contribute to the settle the remaining issues between the two countries.
