Iran Press/ Asia: The embassy's message came as the news was released about the blocking of Iranian students' banking accounts in South Korea, which was due to the misunderstanding between the university and one of the KEB (Korean Exchange Bank) branches in the country.
According to the news, some of the students received emails that they were no more provided with banking services.
"The South Korean policy is not to impose banking restrictions on Iranian students, and students will be notified of the issue in separate emails," the embassy announced.
Earlier, an email was released in which the South Korean Ministry of Education informed Iranian scholarship students that their scholarships might be cut due to the closure of their accounts.
