Iran Press/ Middle East: Upon his arrival in Baghdad to visit his counterpart Fuad Hussein, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said the regional role of Iraq has become more prominent today than ever before, and the presence of Iran in Baghdad at the same time as the meeting of Arab parliaments is underway in the city shows that Iraq has returned to its natural position.
Amir-Abdollahian added the continuation of consultations with Baghdad regarding important regional and international issues is on the agenda of Iran.
Besides talking with the Iraqi FM, Amir-Abdollahian is scheduled to meet with other Iraqi top officials including the President, Prime Minister, and Parliament Speaker.
The Iranian FM also attend the martyrdom place of Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and paid tribute to the Resistance Front's martyrs.
