Tehran (IP) - The Ministry of Agriculture Jihad of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations "FAO" have agreed to continue cooperation by signing a document.

Iran PressIran news: The Pistachio Technical Cooperation Project (TCP) document was signed by Mohammad Mehdi Broumandi, Deputy Director of Horticulture Affairs of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, and Pobak Dohoj JC, Head of the FAO Representative Office in Iran.

In this ceremony, the Minister of Jihad Agriculture of Iran pointed to Iran's experiences in the field of production and increasing productivity in production units and said: "Iran has valuable experiences in the field of fisheries, animal husbandry, horticulture, agriculture."

The head of the FAO representative office in Iran also said in this meeting: "FAO supports the actions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in attracting capital and multilateral international investments."
