Tehran (IP) – Eurostat announced that Iran had exported €64.228 million worth of high-quality pistachio to Europe in the first four months of 2022.

Iran PressIran News: Iran’s pistachio export to Europe registered a 15 percent decline from January to April 2022 as compared to the same period of last year.

Statistics show that Iran has exported over €75.597 million worth of pistachio to Europe from January to April 2021, indicating growth in value as compared to the same period of the current year.

Iran’s export value of pistachio with shell in the first four months of 2022 hit €27.456 million, recording a 43% decline as compared to the same period of last year.

But Iran’s pistachio nut export value to Europe hit €36.772 million from January to April 2022, indicating a 36% growth as compared to the same period of last year.

Germany, Spain and Italy were the leading importers of Iranian pistachio in the mentioned period.
