Iran Press/Iran News: Iran’s Deputy Health Minister for Treatment Affairs Ghasem Janbabaei said in a live press video conference on Wednesday 6 May that during the COVID-19 epidemic all the medical supplies such as ventilators were produced at the domestic knowledge-based companies, the rest of which will be exported to the other countries.
Stating that 900 respiratory systems and 450 ventilators have been provided for the patients, Janbabaie said 450 ICU beds also have been added to the medical system to be used for the patients diagnosed with coronavirus.
In the IT field also, Iran sets out a virtual system to train the medical staff including the nurses and those in contact with the corona-infected patients, he added.
The health ministry official said Iran also has prepared guidelines and fellow charts which are applicable in the world on COVID-19.
