China (IP) - The Foreign Ministers of Iran and China consulted over issues of mutual interest, as well as regional and international issues.

Iran PressAsia: Iran's FM who has traveled to China to meet with his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan met with the Chinese foreign minister Qin Gang on Thursday. 

This is the second meeting of Amir-Abdollahian and Qin Gang in Beijing after Qin was appointed as the foreign minister of China. 

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud in Beijing on Thursday and emphasized the resumption of relations between the two countries.

Also, in a tweet on Thursday, Amir-Abdollahian said that the restart of Tehran-Riyadh diplomatic relations, the resumption of Umrah Hajj rituals for the Iranians, economic and commercial cooperation, the reopening of embassies and consulates general, and the emphasis on stability and security of the region were put on the joint agenda of Iran and Saudi Arabia.

The Spokesman of China's Foreign Ministry welcomed the Tehran-Riyadh agreement to improve the relations and announced Beijing's readiness to help strengthen West Asian security and stability.
