Tehran(IP): The International Vice President of the Central Bank announced the agreement between Iran and China to eliminate the US dollar and trade with national currencies.

Iran PressIran news: In the past years, Iran and China have expanded their relations in three macro-levels: "political-economic", "security-defense" and "geopolitical-strategic", and the signing of the 25-year strategic document was an important step towards completing this process.

"Mohsen Mollakrimi", the International Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, on Monday, on the sidelines of the 9th Digital Banking Conference among journalists, referring to the banking agreement between Iran and China during the recent visit of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Beijing, added that the banking agreement between Iran and China is on the agenda to remove the US dollar from the trade between the two countries.

The International Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Iran stated that connecting the system of Iranian banks with a number of banks in Iran's trading partner countries, including Russia, through native systems is on the agenda, and SWIFT messenger is no longer needed for bank exchange with Russia.

Karimi emphasized that Iranian and Russian banks communicate with local and national messengers in business transactions, and the need for SWIFT in business transactions with Russia has been eliminated.

Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the official invitation of the President of China, visited the country on Tuesday, February 14th, and met with the President, Premier, and Chairman of the National People's Congress of China and discussed and exchanged opinions on the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
