Iran Press/ Iran news: During his weekly press conference, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said: "IRGC targeted the basis of terrorist groups in the Iraqi Kurdistan region was in response to the killing of several border forces in Iran's borders."
He went on to say that Iraq has been warned in formal and informal talks not to let its lands be abused by terrorist groups.
"Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes those terrorist groups who repent and do not want to be abused by others," he added.

Regarding a question about the Israeli regime, Khatibzadeh said: "The Zionist regime, as an illegitimate entity that has become a base for state terror and terrorism, has created serious problems for the region and the world."
This regime, which does not adhere to international law, sits on hundreds of nuclear warheads and has an active nuclear military program, and has consistently refused to join the Non-Proliferation Treaty, rejected safeguard rules, and is recognized as a rebellious regime in the international system."
He noted: "Unfortunately, there is a double and very shameful standard for the West, which not only does not put pressure on the regime to join the treaty, but also provides all its facilities. Iran and its allied and Islamic countries are free of nuclear weapons. This regime has no place to talk about NPT member states."
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh announced in his press conference on Monday that the President would travel to Tajikistan to attend the Shanghai Summit.
He also referred to the agreement between Iran and Iraq to cancel visas, adding: "This is for air travel and its arrangements will be made in the coming days."
In response to a question about the visit of Rafael Grossi, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and the joint statement issued during the visit, the Foreign Ministry spokesman said: Iran-IAEA relations are normal and technical, and as long as the non-political and non-discriminatory aspects of the IAEA are maintained with Iran, Iran will maintain its relations with the IAEA. Grossi's trip was part of resolving some issues between us."
