Iran Press/Iran news: On Thursday the Syrian Army supported by Russian Air Forces launched a series of attacks against the terror groups in the western outskirts of Aleppo.
A coalition of terrorist groups in Syria on Wednesday launched a large-scale offensive against the Syrian Army position in the northwestern province of Aleppo and the eastern countryside of Idlib.

A Plot to Destabilize Regional Security
Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei on Thursday, condemned terrorist attacks in Syria and warned that it is a plot for a broader destabilization in the region led by the US and the Israeli regime.
These attacks coincided with the start of a ceasefire between the Israeli Regime and the Hezbollah Resistance Movement in Lebanon.
Baghaei stressed the importance of vigilance and cooperation among Syria's neighbors to effectively counteract terrorist threats.
Baghaei reminded the international community of its collective responsibility to combat terrorism and warned that delays in addressing the growing threats in Syria could reverse years of counterterrorism achievements.

Russia says the major US-led Western powers continue their hostile policy in Syria by supporting terrorist groups.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Thursday said that the support by the Western regimes for terrorist groups operating in Syria was no secret anymore.
Zakharova reiterated that Russia’s supportive stance towards Syria and its people has been the basis for ensuring security and stability in the West Asia region.
There are reports that at least 60 terrorists have been killed in the clashes. The Syrian army also confirmed inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists. The clashes have also left some 40 members of the Syrian forces killed.
