Tehran (IP) - The Tehran-Minsk joint economic commission will be held in Tehran on Monday and Tuesday, focusing on the expansion of bilateral economic cooperation.

Iran PressIran news: Iranian commercial counselor in Belarus Alireza Seihoon enlisted "economic cooperation in industry, mining, agriculture, oil, power, and energy" as the main terms of discussion in the upcoming commission. 

"Last year, the trade level between Iran and Belarus amounted to approximately 59 million dollars. Iran exported goods worth 15 million dollars to Belarus, while the import of goods from Belarus to Iran was valued at 44 million dollars," said Seihoon.

Belarus has always been on the list of Iran's allies, and both countries take similar approaches on regional and international issues.

Belarus enjoys a close partnership with Russia.
