Iran press/Iran: Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati at the end of the 5th meeting of Assembly of Experts said that one of the most important issues discussed in the meeting was Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei's demands for solving people's economic problems.
Ayatollah Jannati added that solving existing problems is possible by following the leader's guidance.
He noted that enemies are seeking division in Iran's society but if we follow the leader's guidance it also will be foiled.
Ayatollah Jannati also thanked Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and Iranian Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani for their presence in the 5th meeting of Assembly of Experts.
In the final statement released at the end of the 5th meeting of Assembly of Experts, cooperation between the heads of three branches of power for solving people's problems was requested.
The Assembly of Experts is an influential body in charge of designating and dismissing the Supreme Leader. It has 88 members and holds two meetings annually.
The 88-member Assembly of Experts opened the fifth session of its current term in the former building of the Iranian Parliament in downtown Tehran on Tuesday morning.
