The foreign ministers of Iran and Algeria stressed the necessity of stopping the crimes of the Zionist regime against Palestinian civilians and the defenseless residents of Gaza.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held a telephone conversation with his Algerian counterpart Ahmed Attaf on Thursday evening about bilateral relations and recent regional developments, especially the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

The two sides condemned the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the defenseless Palestinian people.

In this conversation, Iran's foreign minister said that the immediate priority in the current situation is to stop the crimes of the Israeli regime against civilians and to send humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Referring to the war crimes of the Zionist regime in targeting civilians, especially the recent attack on Gaza's " Mu'madani " hospital, Amir-Abdollahian stressed the need to increase diplomatic consultations between Islamic countries in order to stop crimes against civilians and send humanitarian aid to the defenseless residents of Gaza.

Referring to the Islamic Republic of Iran's principled position and constant support of the Palestinian issue, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran emphasized the readiness of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran to send medicine and food to Gaza through Egypt.

Ahmed Attaf the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria, in this telephone conversation, referring to the recent events in Palestine, considered the current situation to be the result of the failure of political plans for the Palestinians to achieve their legitimate and national rights in order to have an independent country, meanwhile he emphasized the need to stop violence against innocent Palestinian citizens and send humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip as soon as possible.

With the Al-Aqsa Flood operation entering its 14th day and continuing to achieve unique victories by the resistance fighters in the battle against the Zionist regime, the Israeli army, unable to confront the Palestinian fighters, bombarded residential areas, medical centers, mosques and gathering places of Palestinian refugees in an insane manner martyred more than 3,800 Palestinians, most of whom are children and women.

The Israeli regime, whose efforts to stop the resistance operations in the occupied territories have reached nowhere and the leaders of this regime are still in shock of the unique failure they experienced in confrontation with the Palestinian resistance, continue to target Palestinian civilians and seek the forced displacement of Palestinians as well as turning Gaza to scorched earth.

According to official reports, at least 13,500 Palestinians have been injured during the bombings of the Israeli regime. 219
