Iran Press/Iran news: During a press briefing on the sidelines of the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Mohammad Eslami announced: "We have initiated the gas injection process into several thousand advanced centrifuges, in line with the expansion of our nuclear program, and have brought them into operational service." These remarks were made in the wake of the resolution passed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors.
The head of the AEOI added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always demonstrated its willingness to engage in dialogue, but it will never back down in the face of coercion, pressure, or the unlawful and illegal behavior of the other party."
He added: "Iran's nuclear program has entirely transparent and peaceful objectives. If they choose to ignore the goals outlined in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and their own obligations, resorting instead to unilateral pressure through accusations and pretexts, they will achieve the opposite result."
Transparent Nuclear Goals Under IAEA Oversight
Eslami stressed: "Our quantitative and qualitative objectives are completely transparent, and we are steadily progressing towards them. We are continually achieving the anticipated outcomes, which will also become evident in the daily lives of our citizens."
Eslami said that all activities of Iran's nuclear program are under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency, in accordance with safeguards and considerations outlined in the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
Eslami Denies Undeclared Sites, Criticizes U.S. Pressure
He said: "We have not engaged in any activities outside the established framework and have never had an undeclared site. Despite this, the opposing party has repeated and pursued these pretexts for more than 20 years. Successive administrations have negotiated with them, resulting in the JCPOA. Under the JCPOA, these issues were addressed within the PMD framework. Inspections were carried out, which revealed that these allegations had no basis in reality."
Eslami added: "The 16 U.S. intelligence agencies have repeatedly stated that Iran does not have a military program, and these are historical facts supported by documentation. Despite this, they do not even honor their own agreements and commitments, opting instead for a path of coercion and pressure. However, Iran and its people will never yield to such bullying and pressure."
He concluded: "Our program maintains a maximum enrichment level of 60%, with different enrichment percentages tailored to specific goals. The key focus is on enhancing efficiency and utilizing advanced centrifuges with higher throughput. These advancements aim to increase productivity and economic viability."
