Iran; 1st Paralympic convoy to leave for Tokyo

Tehran (IP) - The first convoy of Iran's Paralympic athletes is to depart for Tokyo, Japan, to participate in the 16th Para-Olympic games.

Iran PressIran news: The first Iranian Paralympic convoy to leave Tehran for Tokyo tonight on Thursday includes 25 athletes.

The convoy will participate in 10 sports fields such as sitting volleyball, judo, wheelchair basketball, track and field, archery, and Para-powerlifting. 

The Iranian sports caravan consists of 62 athletes and 20 technical staff and will go to Tokyo through 7 flights and return through 6 flights.

The 16th Paralympic games will be held in Tokyo from August 24 to September 5.
