Islamabad (IP) - Pakistan's Caretaker Foreign Minister congratulated the Iranian government and nation on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

Iran PressAsia: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press Jalil Abbas Jillani said: "Well at the outset I would like to extend our deepest congratulations to the government and people of Iran on the 45th anniversary of the revolution and their national day. We the people of Pakistan and the government of Pakistan feel that we are very close, we have very close and solid relations between our two countries. And this relationship is anchored in history, in religion, culture, and values between the two sides. And this relationship has also been passed on from generation to generation between the people of our countries." 

Jalil Abbas Jillani added that, "We have very close economic relations, we have a very close political relationship and we cooperate very closely at the international forums."

Also, the caretaker Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan Murtaza Solangi expressed his warm wishes to the government and people of Iran. 

Murtaza Solangi told Iran Press in an interview at the celebration: "First of all I want to congratulate the people of Iran on this historic day, as they observe this anniversary."
