Iran Press/ Asia: In recent days, terrorists have carried out several cowardly explosions on schools, mosques, and fasting worshipers in various provinces of Afghanistan, including Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif, and Kunduz, killing scores of Shiite and Sunni Muslims, including students.
Several blasts have rocked a boys’ school on Tuesday (April 19) in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul. At least 20 people were killed and dozens injured.
The incident took place when the students were leaving their classes.
On the same day, a blast near “Mumtaz” training center in the west of Kabul due to a hand grenade killed five people.

Statement of the ICESCO National Commission under the Ministry of Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran in condemnation of the terrorist attacks in Afghanistan, especially the terrorist attack of April 19, 2022, in a Kabul school, which led to the martyrdom of a number of oppressed Afghan students during the holy month of Ramadan is as follow:
The American and colonial current of takfir and extremism and eclecticism to pump Islamophobia in the world this time showed its fear of knowledge and education, and by killing Afghan students and teenagers, the biggest target of their explosions was schooled as a base of wisdom against ignorance and adolescents as the founders of the future.
The enemies of unity should know that each tulip grows from every martyr to the awakening of nations. Their terrorist acts multiply the people's hatred of their American and Salafi and reactionary masters.
The ICESCO National Commission under the Ministry of Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran condemns the terrorist act in Kabul schools and the martyrdom of a number of oppressed Afghan Sunni and Shiite students during Ramadan, calling it another conspiracy for Islamophobia, division, and backwardness of the countries of the region and creating a wave of migration of Hazaras and their migration and departure from Afghanistan.
