Iran Press/ Iran news: In his press brief on August 27, 2023, Mohammad Eslami noted: "We put our own capacities in a complex cycle process and achieve cesium production from nuclear waste materials."
He said: "The cesium is used in nuclear instruments and radiation system industries."
He said: "In recent years, we faced many difficulties in preparing cesium and molybdenum, but we have successfully produced it."
Eslami stated: "Various industries from oil to medicine benefit from cesium 137, and if the demand increases, we will also increase our production."
