Iran Press/ Europe: Hungarian President Katalin Novak called on his Ukrainian colleague Volodymyr Zelenskiy to negotiate with Russia on ending the war, as she stated, it seems there is no military solution to the issue.
“The war in Ukraine has been going on for a year and a half and I don’t see any military solution that would lead to stable peace in the long term.” That is why we should sit down at the negotiating table. I expressed this firm position to Ukraine's President Zelensky both publicly and privately,” Novak emphasized and stated that Hungary strongly advocates for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
Stating that EU military aid to Kiyv is a direct threat to the security of this continent, she said: "The United States has entered Europe into a competition that should be called a "military aid competition".
European and Western countries, especially the United States, by intensifying the pressure of sanctions against the Russian Federation and supplying all kinds of light and heavy weapons to Kiyv, not only did not take a step towards ending the war in Ukraine, but also fueled the fire of conflicts in this country.
