Tehran (IP) - Iran hosts its first Havva International Film Festival, honoring women and families' power, resilience, and stories.

Iran PressIran news: The inaugural Havva International Film Festival is in full swing, presenting a captivating lineup of feature films, short films, and documentaries at Tehran's Farhang Cinema.

The film event, organized by the Goharshad International Foundation, is taking place not only in Tehran, the capital of Iran, but also across different parts of the country.

With its slogan, "We Stand for the Family," the festival strives to create a platform for expanding the distribution and exhibition pathways for works centered on women and families in Iran and worldwide.

Approximately 300 works from three genres of feature films, documentaries, and short films have been sent to the international event from different countries worldwide.

The prestigious event began on July 7 and is underway until July 14, coinciding with Iran's national observance of "Family Day".
