In response to the brutal attack by the Israeli regime on Wednesday, the Palestinian Islamic resistance movements Hamas and Islamic Jihad announced that the resistance will respond to these crime in Turmus Ayya in the northeast of Ramallah.

Iran PressMiddle East: On Wednesday, the radical and armed Israeli settlers, continuing their barbarism, attacked the town of Turmus Ayya in the northeast of the city of Ramallah in the West Bank and set fire to the cars and houses of the Palestinians.

On Tuesday night, the Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian farms and their cars in the Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, a Palestinian village in the northern West Bank located 20 kilometers south of Nablus, and caused a lot of damage to them. 

The settlers also attacked a Palestinian journalist and destroyed his car at the Zaatra checkpoint in Yetma, a Palestinian town in the Nablus Governorate in the northern West Bank, located 15 kilometers south of Nablus. 

Being Supported by the Israeli army, the Jewish settlers have constantly been attacking, destroying, and setting fire to Palestinians' properties in different West Bank areas.

The Hamas movement emphasized that these crimes are carried out with the direct support and encouragement of the Zionist government and all its consequences are aimed at this regime.

Islamic Jihad spokesman Tariq Salmi also said: "What happened in Turmus Ayya is a brutal crime for which the Zionist enemy and the occupying settlers will pay the price, and this crime will definitely not go unanswered by the resistance."

Jordan and Egypt, also, issued statements strongly condemning the criminal attacks of the occupying Zionist settlers on a number of Palestinian villages and cities in the West Bank.

Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesman for the Secretary-General, also told reporters about the events in Turmus Ayya that Israeli officias at different levels are informed of their responsibilities as aggressors.
