East Azerbaijan (IP) - Gol Akhor waterfall in Varzaghan of East Azerbaijan, northwestern Iran, is a pleasant destination for tourists in the hot days of summer.

Iran PressIran news: Gol Akhor waterfall is located in the heart of the Arasbaran forest in the East Azerbaijan province; the name comes from Azeri Turkish, meaning the place of falling flowers. 

The waterfall is formed through three sprigs joined together and is 10 meters high. 

The path leading to Gol Akhor waterfall is facilitated by stairs, with a number of gazebos built for tourists to have easy access to the waterfall.

The vegetation diversity around Gol Akhor waterfall and the cool weather has caused tourists to visit the beautiful waterfall in the summer and experience pleasant moments with the sound of flowing water and cool air.
