Iran Press/ Iran news: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received Iranian lawmakers in Tehran on July 21, 2024.
Ayatollah Khamenei while urging everyone to assist the president in fulfilling his responsibilities towards the country, said: "If we can behave in such a way that the president succeeds, this success would be for all of us. If he succeeds in the administration of the country, and the economic development of the country, it is a collective success. His victories are our victories. We must believe this deeply."
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf in a message on his page on the X social platform wrote: "The leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a meeting with the parliamentarians, emphasized the necessity of constructive interaction between the parliament with the new government."
Ghalibaf added: "In response to Ayatollah Khamenei's statement, we also announced that the parliament considers the success of the elected president and the new government as our success and we will do our best to help the government." 219
