Andrea Sasse, spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry said: "Germany has summoned the Iranian ambassador for consultation and in response to the summoning of Berlin's ambassador in Tehran."
Iran Press/ Europe: Following the interventionist views of the German Foreign Minister regarding Iran's internal affairs, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Ali Bagheri, on Thursday summoned the German Ambassador in Tehran, Hans-Udo Muzel to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
Referring to the statements of some German officials in inciting riots and breaking the law in Iran, Iran's political deputy foreign minister summoned the German ambassador, He described such an irresponsible political stance as contrary to the rules and principles of international law and incompatible with the tradition of long relations between the two countries and called it unacceptable.
Emphasizing the Islamic Republic of Iran's commitment to respecting human rights, including the right to peaceful assembly, Bagheri considered the illegal intervention of some Western countries as a factor in bringing violence to peaceful assemblies.
He further noted: "Violence and lawlessness are not only in conflict with the right of peaceful community, but also disrupt public order and the security of individual citizens."
Bagheri also referred to the terrorist attack by Takfiri elements on innocent pilgrims of the shrine of Shahcheragh (AS) in Shiraz, and called such terrorist actions along the lines of violent and anarchic movements that, unfortunately, some European countries and the US have supported and promoted. 219
